Our Mission
The mission of the Rice County Activity Center is to support people with disabilities in their community through responsive program services, to attain their personal measure of vocational achievement, self-sufficiency, health and mental well-being.
The Center upholds the rights and protections of the individuals it supports, while encouraging the development of creative partnerships with businesses, government agencies and the general public to meet this objective.

Our phenomenal team is made up of experienced and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to helping our clients. We take pride in the quality of care we provide and are committed to making a positive impact in our community.
Alex, Amber, Ben, Cameron, Chloe, Emma, Kay, Lexy, Lori M., Mali, Mattie, Molly, Mona, Nathaniel, Pat, and Sylvia are some of our wonderful staff here at the RCAC! We truly appreciate all they do each day to support our individuals and keep things running smoothly. Teamwork makes the dream work! :)
Board Members
We are looking to add members to our board!
Qualified candidates should possess:
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm for community service
- Compassion and respect for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Strong teamwork skills and collaborative mindset
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Awareness of community resources and service networks
- Personal or professional experience living or working with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
Board service requirements:
- Must be able to attend monthly board meetings held at 3:00pm on the 2nd Monday of each month
- Participate actively in governance, planning, and mission-driven decision-making
