Rice County Activity Center provides pre-vocational training and support to individuals seeking meaningful work, regardless as to whether the person is interested in working on site at the Activity Center, at a Community Site as a team member or choses to participate in Community Volunteer Activity.
Current Volunteer Options
Meals on Wheels
Our Volunteers are involved with weekly deliveries of lunches to homes in the Faribault Community.
Wage Earning Jobs
Wages are paid at a piecework rate. (Creative Coop)
- Shredding
- Paper rolls
- Destroying Pull Tabs
- Garbage Bag
- All Occasion Cards
- Fire Starters
- Green House
Supported hourly wage jobs include:
- Restroom cleaning
- Office cleaning/ trash collection
- Cleaning common Business Areas
- Vacuuming/Sweeping/Mopping
- Dusting
- Wiping Down Appliances
- Windows
- Lawn work (weeding)
- In House (laundry and washing tables)
