Vocational Services
Rice County Activity Center provides pre-vocational training and support to individuals seeking meaningful work, regardless as to whether the person is interested in working on site at the Activity Center, at a Community Site as a team member or choses to participate in Community Volunteer Activity.
Community Volunteer Activity
Individuals who choose to take advantage of community volunteer opportunities can elect to participate as part of a team. This opportunity to volunteer is available, with signed consent of our persons served and their guardian (if applies), regardless of their work status, as their schedule allows.
Current Volunteer Options
Meals-On-Wheels
Our Volunteers are involved with weekly deliveries of lunches to homes in the Faribault Community.
Wage Earning Jobs
Wages are paid at a piecework rate. (Creative Coop)
Supported hourly wage jobs include:
- Restroom cleaning
- Office cleaning/ trash collection
- Cleaning common Business Areas
- Vacuuming/Sweeping/Mopping
- Dusting
- Wiping Down Appliances
- Windows
